Dr. Tamara McDonald is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) who is dual board-certified in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Practice. Licensed in Oregon and Idaho, Dr. McDonald established Mind and Body Medicine to ensure every woman receives the specialized, evidence-based care she deserves.
As a Women's Mental Health Specialist and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), she provides hormone-informed and targeted care for women experiencing mental health fluctuations throughout the menstrual cycle, perimenopause, and menopause.

Dr. Tamara McDonald specializes in women's mental health, focusing on the unique challenges women face across the lifespan. She offers compassionate, tailored care for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to reproductive and hormonal health. Dr. McDonald helps women struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, and PTSD/trauma to feel empowered, regain confidence, and achieve emotional wellness. She recognizes that women experience life differently than men, and that traditional healthcare systems and research often favor male experiences, leading to inequality and limitations for women seeking similar mental health services.

Dr. McDonald specializes in mental healthcare for women who experience hormone fluctuations throughout the menstrual and reproductive years, perimenopause, and menopause.
